Grief

Woke up early today to go for a quick run. Keeping with the day today, 8/2, had an idea to do 8km run + 2 walk (warm-up and cooldown). Ended up doing 9/3 instead (9km run, 1km warm-up, 2 km cooldown). Not the best PR and not yet my best pace but today is about celebrating small wins! 😁

Running with a mask still has its challenges but this @woobimaskph makes it a lot easier. This new color scheme is a good complement to the functionality it offers. Definitely a recommended addition to your running gear!

Resonating thoughts today is all about being deliberate in what we think, what we say and how we act.

Often, we miss being mindful in these areas and usually that results to misses (or forgetfulness for me). Setting intentions for the day helps affirm what we are here for. Take time to be quiet, take time to listen, understand the message. Let those guide our words and actions. Be grateful we are here to fulfill why we are here.

And if negative thoughts come our way, see what opportunity it is providing to teach us so we understand what we think and feel about it. Our current situation drives grief of being stuck.

In my case, it is about grief of being limited in my options to choose from. But this is teaching us patience. It is teaching us humility. It is teaching us gratitude. It is showing us that it takes so little to be happy. It is showing who are essential in our lives and those who are just passing by. More so, it is teaching us to be deliberate. And move in love. Take time. Listen.
